Equal Adventure launches its new charity (charity number SC039133)
Equal Adventure will now exist as two entities:
Equal Adventure (the charity)
Equal Adventure Trading (the CIC)
The aim of the charity is to ensure that Equal Adventure (EA) is able to continue the development of equipment, information and resources, to make outdoor adventure, fieldwork and active lifestyles accessible, regardless of disability.
Equal Adventure Trading will continue to exist as it always has, as a social enterprise, or Community Interest Company (CIC). Its work will be to ensure that the products developed by EA are able to reach people and organisations that require them. It will ensure that the manufacturing, price and supply are sustainable.
