EA Developments is focused on making a difference to the lives of disabled people, meeting the needs of outdoor centres and increasing inclusivity in the outdoors. If you are looking to increase inclusivity in your centre, for a family member or friend, or are interested in products that can help you in your individual goals of outdoor engagement, EA Development has been working on products, adaptive equipment, and training courses to increase inclusive, safe and meaningful engagement in the outdoors for many years. At EA Developments, we believe that inclusion in the outdoors is important as it makes sure that everybody has safe and meaningful engagements with the outdoors through expeditions, fieldwork, and green and blue health agendas.
EA Development’s story begins, in many ways, with the development of the world’s first first climbing harness purposefully designed for disabled climbers. EA Developments is proud of their provision of high quality equipment to support inclusion in the outdoors. The interdisciplinary production team designs and makes over 300 high quality products to be able to make inclusion possible in the outdoors, and to support you with your own goals and ambitions.
If you are interested in learning more about inclusivity in the outdoors and joining the Equal Adventure mission, EA Developments provides high quality, hybrid training and consultancy courses. If you are an expedition professional, outdoor professional, carer, support worker, teacher, or wanting to gain individual credentials, these training courses offer a person-centred approach where inclusion can come to life, and become embedded within standard practice. These courses consist of a range of modules to help you develop your own professional judgments around inclusive practice through a holistic approach. Taking a holistic approach in this training allows both disabled and non-disabled people to be able to participate together in a safe and meaningful way.
