Equipment Variants
Some products have variants to ensure the best fit or match to a functional need. Variants range in type:
Colour
The product is likely to be predominantly one colour with few other coloured parts of significance. | The product likely has few parts that are coloured differently. |
The product is likely to have some parts that have been coloured to contrast with others to support SENSE able communications. |
The product is likely to be intentionally multicoloured to enable significant SENSE able communication to support use. |
Where applicable an indication of the colour of the product is provided. Each colour definition aims to provide guidance on the predominant colour. The use of colour and visual contrast of materials (along with consideration to texture and tactile features) is intended to support independent fitting. It also aims to provide opportunities to improve visual, auditory and tactile SENSE able communications.
Size
Sizes are provided as a guide and are provided either as a suggested age range, a size range for growth development range.

Sides, hands and feet
Body shape considers the symmetry of the performer, a product may be suitable for a particular side of the body and or appropriate for a particular hand or foot, pair of hands or feet or an individual hand or foot.
